I love con season especially when I get to attend cons every couple months. I really only attend the four local ones anymore but maybe soon as our financial situation allows we'll be able to travel farther out again. Honestly, I'd rather save up to go to New Zealand instead though. Maybe attend a con out there? HaHA but mostly, I just wanna visit New Zealand. It would be something special for Jubilee and I.
Anyway, our facebook page just recently hit 100 likes (I know...really? You're excited about that? Sue me, making even the smallest amount of people happy gives me thrills.) so I was talking to Jubes a few days ago about doing a giveaway. It seems to be the new thing right now and it seems to be working for other people and well...I've had some wigs I've been trying to sell for literally two years now so...doing a give away would get them out of my house and into new loving homes where they'll actually possibly be used. If this works it may open the door for me doing it again for other stuff that's just crowding my already crowded apartment. Things I would feel rather bad selling (Cheap anime posters and the like). I dunno we'll see.
As far as other things go, I've been working on and off on both Bombshell Wonder Woman and our Sailor Senshi costumes. Alternating of course whenever one or the other pisses me off. I'm that kinda cosplayer. Right now I'm stuck on the shoulder poofs for the Senshi because screw math. No seriously, screw math. Worse. Subject. Ever. I am terrible at math. So I've been working on the shorts to WW because I want those shorts to wear around in the Spring and Summer. I'll wear them every freaking day if I can get away with it. Expecting to have them done before Momo at least. Hopefully in time to do a photoshoot with my girl before the con! That's my plan for this year, getting things done relatively early instead of just waiting until the last week or so before the con. Also planning to start work on Kili soon, will be ordering his shirt fabric as soon as the refund checks come in and I plan on sculpting out his little metal bits until then. I'm going to be resin casting them and I've never done that so this is going to be an adventure! Here's hoping I don't screw it up. I'm really, really excited to be doing Kili so hahaha.
Other than that I'm just procrastinating like crap on that video series. Mainly because I lost the use of my laptop and this computer like to randomly die, not really excuses but hey. What can I say? I'm planning on forcing myself out of that slump more as well. Feel free to yell at me if I don't get a video up soon. Or hell, give me suggestions for things you would like to see in a video!
Anyway, what's everybody else doing this lovely January?
